About LRT-1
The Manila Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT Line 1 or LRT-1) is the first light rail in the Philippines. Presently, the line spans twenty (20) stations in about 19.65 kilometers (12.21 miles) linking the cities of Parañaque, Pasay, Manila, Caloocan, and Quezon City. The line runs in a general north-south direction from Baclaran to Monumento then in an east-west direction from Monumento to North Avenue. Passengers can transfer to LRT Line 2 at Doroteo Jose Station, while passengers can transfer to the MRT Line 3 at EDSA Station. For commuters with destinations along Taft Avenue, at Quiapo Church, UST, DOH, Manila Chinese and North Cemetery, Cry of Balintawak, this is the fastest and most convenient method to travel.

LRT-1 Schedule
Trips from Baclaran and Roosevelt stations start at 4:30 a.m daily even on weekends and holidays. From Mondays through Fridays, the last Baclaran-bound trip is scheduled at 10:15p.m. while the final Roosevelt-bound trip is at 10 p.m. During weekends and holidays, however, the last trip to Baclaran is at 9:45 p.m. while the last trip to Roosevelt is at 9:30 p.m. Here's a quick view of the LRT-1 service hours:
LRT-1 Fare
Single Journey tickets are sold in increments of P15, P20, or P30 depending on the number of stations traveled. Stored Value (SV) ticket holders are charged P12 to P29 depending on trip length. Senior Citizens and Person with Disability (PWDs) can avail a 20% discount on Single Journey and Stored Value Tickets by presenting their valid OSCA/NCDA ID to the station tellers.
